# HasContent

The **`HasContent()`** function checks whether an AI agent conversation contains any messages.

Use this function to decide whether a chatbox should show an existing conversation or start a new one, or to hide conversation details until the first message has been exchanged.

This function is NOT SQL compatible. For more information about SQL compatibility, see our documentation.
