# RegExIsMatch

The **`RegExIsMatch()`** function checks a <mark style="color:blue;">text</mark> for a pattern if it can be found. &#x20;

All regex functions use a pattern to check for matches in the input text.&#x20;

Returns <mark style="color:green;">True</mark> if the pattern is found in <mark style="color:blue;">text</mark>.

Returns <mark style="color:red;">False</mark> if the pattern is not found in <mark style="color:blue;">text</mark>.&#x20;

Returns <mark style="color:red;">\[unknown]</mark> if no matches are found or the pattern is faulty.
