Trim

The Trim() function strips text of whitespace from both ends.

This function is NOT SQL compatible. For more information about SQL compatibility, see our documentation.

Returns a new text where both trailing and leading whitespaces are removed from text.

Syntax

Trim(text)

Trim(" start with a space.")=> "start with a space."

Trim(" start and end with spaces. ")=> "start and end with spaces."

Trim("")=> ""
