# Allow Support Access

Support staff does NOT have access to your project, so if it is necessary to investigate your project in the Modeler, you should provide access to Support. Here's how you do that:

### Allow Support Access to your Project

Step 1: go to the project settings page and locate the security settings on the right.

Step 2: Select the grant support access item.

Step 3: Toggle the support access switch to the right (green) and select save.

Support employees can now access your Project in the Modeler, until you disable the Support Access. You are able to see this on the project info page (\[i] tab) by the yellow Support access section at the top left of this page.

### Disable Support Access

To disable the Support Access, go to the \[i] tab and see the information about the Support Access being active (when and by who). Click the button `[Stop support access]` when it is no longer needed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.wem.io/platform/gettingstarted/mywem-portal/allow-support-access.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
